The Staff Recruitment Office is responsible for:
- Advertising of all University posts, at all levels
- Co-ordinating the recruitment and selection processes for permanent and T2 contract posts in the following categories:
- Academic posts from Lecturer to Professor level (including Research Officers of equivalent ranks)
- Professional and administrative support services posts in payclasses 9 to 13 (including executive appointments)
- Ensuring that the University's Employment Equity policy and Recruitment and Selection policies are adhered to by selection committees
When a vacancy arises, contact your HR Practitioner with regard to the procedures to be followed.
