Group Life Assurance
A group life assurance scheme, underwritten by Capital Alliance, has been set up for the benefit of staff members. The provisions of the scheme, subject to occasional amendment, are available via the link below. Further information may be obtained from the Human Resources Department.
(The UCT Retirement Fund allows permanent members life cover of up to seven times their pensionable salary. Of this, cover of one times pensionable salary is provided by the group life scheme. Contract staff on the UCTRF have cover of three times pensionable salary from the group life scheme).
