The Staff Recruitment & Selection Office is responsible for:
- Advertising of all University posts, at all levels
- Co-ordinating the recruitment and selection processes for permanent and contract posts of three years or more in the following categories:
Academic posts from lecturer to professor level (including Research Officers of equivalent ranks)
Professional and administrative support services posts in payclasses 9 to 13
- Ensuring that the University's Employment Equity Policy and Recruitment and Selection Policies are adhered to by selection committees
